Meet one of our DICA Students Stefanie, she’s a 14 year old 10th grader who understands the value of hard work instilled in her by a single mother, small business owner, and immigrant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her mother struggles to make ends meet with the struggling business and a lack of financial resources. With the support of her mentors at DICA, Stefanie continues to maintain a 4.0 GPA in spite of many social and economic challenges. She aspires to study visual arts in college and dreams to be one of the very few minority Neurologist which will make her a first-generation college graduate.
Thanks to charitable gifts and donors like you, we are making Stefanie’s dreams achievable by providing her with a full sponsorship to continue her arts training and mentorship at Divine Inspirations Center for the Arts.
